Prime Minister Receives Director General of Rosatom Corporation
Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan received Director General of Rosatom Corporation Alexei Likhachev. The Prime Minister stressed the importance of Armenian-Russian cooperation in the energy sector and expressed satisfaction with the current level of bilateral cooperation.
The interlocutors discussed issues related to the renewal of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant’s second unit.
Alexei Likhachev advised that the activities are proceeding according to the proposed timetable, adding that the NPP project is a landmark point in the cooperation between the two countries in the energy sector. In conclusion, the Rosatom Director General briefed the Premier on the project’s interim results and the planned activities.
