RA Prime Minister, European Investment Bank Vice President Discuss Progress in Joint Projects
Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan received European Investment Bank (EIB) Vice President Vazil Hudak.
Calling effective the ongoing cooperation with the European Investment Bank, Prime Minister Karapetyan stressed the importance of implementing investment programs in fields of energy, transport, water supply, solid waste management and in the private sector.
Karen Karapetyan referred to the reforms initiated by his government, aimed at increasing efficiency, creating a more favorable business environment and attracting investment.
In turn, Vazil Hudak assured that the European Investment Bank is ready to build on the ties of mutually beneficial cooperation with the Armenian government in the aforementioned areas and implement new programs that will contribute to the development of Armenia.
The parties took the opportunity to discuss progress in those projects implemented with the private sector’s direct financing in the energy and transport sectors. In this context, they talked about the planned activities and cooperation prospects.
