RA Prime Minister Attends Eurasian Intergovernmental Council Meeting
The Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan-led government delegation attended today the session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, held in narrow and expanded formats in Astana.
Before the session had started, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev received the heads of government delegations.
The heads of EAEU-member States’ governments discussed issues related to the deepening of integration cooperation in the fields of economy, customs administration, energy, transport and other areas. Reference was made to the digital agenda, the integration of member countries’ energy markets and cooperation in the aviation industry. In addition, the meeting discussed issues related to the ongoing EAEU-Iran talks process, the provision of retirement pensions, as well as the mutual recognition of national and international driving licenses and a number of other issues.
The next session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will be held in Armenia.
