Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan sent a message of condolences to Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Spain Mariano Rajoy Brey.

“On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Armenia and myself, I express my deepest condolences on the terrorist acts in Barcelona that killed dozens of innocent people. We strongly condemn terrorism, which does not recognize nationality and borders with all its manifestations.

We share your grief in a difficult moment for your country and express our sympathy to the friendly people of Spain and the victims’ relatives, wishing strength and endurance to overcome the consequences of the tragedy.
