Rural Capacity Building Program Council Meeting Held
Chaired by Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan, the Rural Capacity Building, Infrastructure and Rural Financing Assistance Program Council met today in the Office of Government.
The Council reviewed and approved the revised version of the Rural Investment Guidelines to be used by the Government Staff’s Rural Development Program Implementation Office-operated Rural Financing Facility, as well as a loan agreement to be signed between the above institution and the SME Investment Universal Credit Organization.
The Council authorized the Rural Development Economic Implementation Unit State Institution to enter into partnership and sign a loan agreement with ACBA Leasing UCO. Thus, ACBA Leasing UCO will partake in the State-supported agricultural machinery leasing program in Armenia.
The Council approved the Evaluation Commission’s decision on the bids submitted for irrigation network building activities under the Infrastructure and Rural Financing Assistance Program in 2017-2018 in Noratus, Tsovinar and Vardenik communities of Gegharkunik Marz and Horom community of Shirak Marz.
