Issues of improved condominium activities discussed with Prime Minister
Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan held a consultation, during which issues on improving the activities of condominiums were discussed. The Ministry of Justice presented the draft law of the Republic of Armenia “On management of multi-apartment buildings,” which addresses issues not regulated by the currently applicable law.
The bill clearly defines multi-apartment building managers’ responsibilities, sets out requirements for professional management, envisages administrative and civil sanctions in case of non-compliance.
The Premier instructed to continue exploring the international experience in the management of condominiums, emphasizing that practical work should be organized as efficiently as possible, taking into account the existing problems and shortcomings.
