Karen Karapetyan receives Rotary International representatives







Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan received the representatives of Rotary International, who have arrived in Yerevan to attend the first-ever regional conference on the 25th anniversary of Rotary International’s activities in Armenia.

Welcoming the guests, Karen Karapetyan highly appreciated the charitable activity of Rotary International, including the programs implemented in Armenia. The Prime Minister thanked the organization for keeping Armenia in the spotlight and wished them fruitful activities.

The representatives of Rotary International emphasized that Armenia is an important partner for them and went on to assure that the conference, which is due to kick off on October 14 in Yerevan, will also discuss the areas for implementation of new programs in our country.

There are over 30 thousand Rotary clubs operational worldwide with 1.2 million members united in the international organization of Rotary International. Rotary has implemented over 4 billion US dollar-worth charitable projects around the world, including USD 3 million – in Armenia.
