Today a meeting of the interagency commission for the organization of the tender for lease of Jermough-Koyughi CJSC-managed water systems has been held under the chairmanship of Mr Hovik Abrahamian, RA Minister for Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Operations Coordination.
The commission took notice of the report on the progress and the steps to follow in the tender for the lease of the right to water supply and drainage services in Yerevan. According to the report, considering the objective difficulties arising during the tendering process, a new time-table for the tender had been drafted and submitted for commission approval with the starting date for the tender being set at July-August, 2005. Also, it was noted that along with this tender a second loan package for the improvement of water supply and drainage services in Yerevan was being discussed between the World Bank and the Armenian government.
The meeting approved the list of measures for the lease of the right to water supply and drainage services in the capital city and the personal composition of the expert group for the assessment of the tenders invited, as well as the bids appraisal (qualification) summary.
Commission members endorsed the solutions given to the problems having arisen in connection with the preparation of the tender package presented by "Fichtner / JEN" Consortium.
