Dear Schoolchildren and Students,
Dear Teachers and Parents,
I congratulate you on the Day of Knowledge which also marks the resumption of the new academic year in educational establishments, symbolizing the start-up of a new path which leads into the infinite and delightful world of books, literature and knowledge. Especially, I would like to felicitate warmly those pupils and students who are crossing the threshold of schools and high schools for the first time and for whom this memorable day will be more significant as they embrace upon schooling in the jubilee year of the 15th anniversary of independence of the Republic Armenia. Along with adding a feeling of pride, it will also compel them to do their utmost at school to get firm and useful knowledge to ensure that future anniversaries, marked with their immediate participation, are celebrated in a much more prosperous State that will become increasingly powerful and developed from year to year.
Our people have always nourished love to knowledge and education and now the new generation should continue and develop these traditions along modern lines. Today State policies are focused thereupon and this trend is furthered by the day-to-day dedicated work of our teachers.
Reiterating to you my congratulations on the Day of Knowledge, Dear Pupils, Teachers and Parents, I wish you robust health and every success in both study and work.
