Issues Related to Movement of Goods within EAEU Discussed with Karen Karapetyan
Acting Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan held a consultation to discuss issues related to the movement and administration of goods within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
The meeting specifically touched upon issues of product traceability, labeling and documentary support of identification means, as well as the simplification of business processes for economic entities.
The State Revenue Committee representatives informed about the initiative to introduce an electronic system of mutual recognition of documents for goods and services exported and/or transported within the EAEU space, which had been given a preliminary approval on the part of Member States. The system’s technical specifications are being developed at this point of time.
Highlighting the importance of facilitated circulation of documents for economic entities, Karen Karapetyan instructed the heads of responsible agencies to submit substantiated recommendations for discussion at EAEU platforms.
