VAT Payment Deferment Process to be Streamlined
Chaired by Acting Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan, a consultation was held today in the Office of Government to discuss issues related to the deferment of VAT payments for goods imported by economic entities,
Head of State Revenue Committee Vardan Harutyunyan and Acting Minister of Economic Development and Investments Suren Karayan reported on the results of the implementation of VAT payment deferments. Proposals and recommendations were presented during the exchange of opinions that followed.
Karen Karapetyan instructed the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments and the SRC to streamline the process of deferment of VAT payments, stressing the need for proper control over the fulfillment of the obligations assumed by beneficiary companies.
