North-South Road Corridor Governing Council Holds Regular Meeting
Chaired by Acting Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan, the Governing Council of North-South Road Corridor, Sustainable Urban Development and Northern Corridor Modernization Programs met today in the Office of Government.
The Council first approved the results of the international tender for construction of a new bridge over the Debed River in Bagratashen and the contract to be signed to that effect. JVCA of Soosung Engineering Co., Ltd and Korea Consultants International Co., Ltd have been recognized as competent and qualified participants in the competition.
The Council next discussed and approved the amendments to the contract signed with Safege SA and Eptisa PU, the engineering entity for the North-South Road Corridor Tranche-2 Activity. In addition, a procedure was established for further disposal of land acquired under the Tranche-2.
In conclusion, the meeting approved the mutual understanding arrangements signed with Sinohydro Corporation Limited, as well as the changes to the Tranche-2 and Tranche-3 procurement plans and the Tranche-4 procurement plan.
