Regular discussion within the framework of the Platform for Coordination of Cooperation with Armenia’s Development Partners was held in the Office of Government
Chaired by RA Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigorian and UN Resident Coordinator Shombi Sharp, a regular discussion within the framework of the Platform for Coordination of Cooperation with Armenia’s Development Partners was held in the Office of Government.
As agreed three months ago at a meeting with government officials, the ambassadors of those countries implementing development projects in our country and Armenia’s representatives in international organizations, the Strategic Framework of the Armenian Government was presented at today’s discussion.
Reiterating the importance of organizing meetings in such a format, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan expressed the hope that Armenia’s development partners can make a valuable contribution to the strategy development process.
UN Resident Coordinator Shombi Sharp stated in this connection: “The Deputy Prime Minister’s elaboration of government priorities and strategic directions in the Development Partners Coordination Forum today was extremely helpful. All partners appreciate the openness of government to involve the international community in the preparation and implementation of these important strategic documents to achieve the ambitious reforms and vision for a new Armenia.”
Head of the Office of Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigorian Sedrak Barseghyan introduced the Strategic Framework, the Government’s priorities and the breakdown of per-sector reforms. In conclusion, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan answered the questions of meeting participants.
