Eurasian Economic Commission holds regular meeting in Kazakhstan
Chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, the Eurasian Economic Commission held a regular meeting in Nur-Sultan, the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The meeting discussed issues related to transactions associated with precious metals and precious stones within the framework of the EAEU, as well as the ongoing negotiations over the free trade arrangement to be signed with Singapore.
Reference was also made to the labeling of a number of goods, money laundering and terrorism financing. The participants discussed possibilities for exchange of information in the customs sphere and the unified normative-information system of the Union.
The agenda featured an item related to the reduction of customs duties on imports of some goods in the common customs area.
