Most of Armenia independence-dated events to be held in Gyumri
The bulk of the events dedicated to the 28th anniversary of Armenia’s independence will be held in Gyumri. The festive events will kick off at the Central Park of Gyumri at 11:00. There will be 7 musical stages in different parts of the city.
A public discussion on “Vision of proportional community development” will be held at the house-museum of Hovhannes Shiraz, attended by political, pubic and cultural figures.
Works by famous craftsmen and artists from Gyumri will be on display at Shahumyan Street.
Vardanants Square will be turned into a children’s village.
A gala concert will kick off at Vardanants Square at 19:00, local time, involving Armenian and foreign singers. The festive events will come to completion at 23:00.
Celebrations of the 28th anniversary of Armenia’s independence will be held Yerevan and other regions of the country.
