Tigran Avinyan Meets with Georgian Economy and Sustainable Development Minister




 On October 22, 2019, Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan met with Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava.

 
Tigran Avinyan noted that the two countries have a great deal of untapped economic potential and they should replenish bilateral trade and economic exchanges with new and ambitious projects. In this context, the Deputy Premier stressed the importance of planned summer session of the Armenian-Georgian intergovernmental commission to be held after a long break.
 
The sides discussed possibilities of cooperation in developing artificial intelligence, microchip modeling, satellite communication, and renewable energy and agreed to explore the prospects of joint projects in these areas.
 
The furtherance of partnership between the two countries in the fight against monopolies was discussed during the meeting.
