Tigran Avinyan Receives World Bank Delegation
On November 20, Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan received World Bank Yerevan Office Director Ms. Sylvie Bossoutrot, and the Local Economy and Infrastructure Development Project (Project) team members.
Current issues related to the Project and upcoming activities were discussed during the meeting. The World Bank representatives expressed satisfaction with the recent months’ significant progress in Project implementation.
The Deputy Prime Minister noted that the proposed goals and activities meet the Government’s priorities in the field of economic development, specifically in terms of modernizing tourism infrastructure and expanding opportunities for territorial development.
Tigran Avinyan prioritized the effective implementation of the Project and emphasized the Government’s commitment to developing the necessary capacity.
The parties also discussed the possibility of Project restructuring.
