Today the Millenium Challenge Account - Armenia Program Governing Council has met under the chairmanship of RA Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan.
The Governing Council has approved the human constituent of the evaluation committee established with the view of selecting a consulting company to perform a feasibility study and design roads under the rural road rehabilitation component of the Millenium Challenge Armenia Program. Director of Millenium Challenge SNCO Ara Hovsepyan reported that competitive bids had been invited from consulting companies worldwide to perform the feasibility study and road design under the rural road rehabilitation project of the Millenium Challenge Account - Armenia Program.
The meeting similarly approved the membership of the election Committee to review the interest expressed by pre-qualified organizations for the design and construction of 6 natural-flow irrigation systems under the infrastructure component of the irrigated agriculture project.
It was noted that the invitation of bids for eligibility in the shortlist of pre-qualified companies to monitor the design and construction of 6 natural-flow irrigation systems under the infrastructure component of the irrigated agriculture project would be posted on the official website of the MCA Armenia Program, "Hayastani Hanrapetoutyun" daily, as well as in the "UNDB-online" and "dgMarket" UN periodicals. Bids for eligibility to the shortlist will be assessed based on the pre-qualification criteria stated in the invitation by the Committee. Once endorsed by the Governing Council, the pre-qualification results will be submitted for MCC's approval.
The Council has endorsed the text of the Procurement Agreement to be signed between the MCC and the GoA represented by the Millenium Challenge Account
