Today RA Anticorruption Council has met in the Office of Government, presided at by council chairman, Republic of Armenia Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan.


Discussed was the progress with the implementation of RA Anticorruption Strategy Action Plan, as well as the performance of the 1999-2006 public sector reforms commission and other issues of topical interest.


With reference to agenda item 1, it was reported that most of the 99 actions planned for 2004-2007, among which legislative improvements and harmonization with international standards, reforms in the system of public governance, banking, tax and customs administration, health services, education etc., had been realized. 9 targets were met in full for the year 2003 and 18 others
