Mher Grigoryan Receives WB Regional Director
Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received Sebastian Molineus, World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus. The meeting was attended by WB Armenian Office Manager Sylvie Bossoutrot.
Welcoming the guests, the Deputy Premier considered the meeting as a good opportunity to discuss the status of the ongoing programs and joint actions. Mher Grigoryan presented the results of the meeting held in November, which as attended by the local stakeholders, focused on the programs implemented in Armenia with the World Bank’s assistance.
Thankful for the ongoing effective cooperation, World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus Sebastian Molineus highlighted the Armenia Governance Development Policy Operation (DPO), as approved in November by the World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors.
The interlocutors went on to review the programs implemented in the spheres of energy, healthcare and education. Sebastian Molineus introduced other countries’ successful experience, highlighting the steps aimed at developing Armenia’s human capital.
Highly appreciative of the World Bank’s knowledge and experience, the Deputy Prime Minister stressed the need for closer cooperation in ensuring the development of capital market in Armenia.
