There will be no delays in payment of pensions and benefits, they will be delivered at beneficiaries’ place of residence

To provide for uninterrupted payment of pensions and benefits, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs us negotiating with HayPost CJSC to ensure that company staff visit beneficiaries and deliver pensions and benefits in cash at their place of residence. There is no need to visit Haypost’s local offices.

In addition, a draft is out which provides that where the deadlines for specific pension and benefit-related transactions expire in March and April 2020, they will be extended by law until May 31, 2020. No need to visit social security services for this purpose.

The draft proposes to extend the deadline for beneficiaries to report to the bank for retirement pensions if the latter end on April 30 and the pensioner is in the Republic of Armenia. Thus, there is no need to visit the bank.

The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia reports that there are no delays in the payment of pensions and benefits, the process will be completed on time in the manner prescribed by law.
