Government Decision on Communication Restrictions with the Russian Federation
Under a decision issued by the Government of the Republic of Armenia, inland and air communication with the Russian Federation will be subject to temporary restrictions in the period from March 17 through March 24, 2020.
The restriction shall not apply to those citizens of the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation and members of their families returning to homeland, persons legally residing in the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation, the personnel of respective diplomatic missions and their family members, the state officials on official trips, newly appointed servicemen of the 102nd Russian military base in the Republic of Armenia and members of their families, as well as those servicemen who have returned to the Russian Federation for vacation, business trip or medical treatment.
Uninterrupted freight traffic will be maintained between the two countries.
