Tigran Avinyan Holds Consultation at National Center for Disease Control and Prevention
Chaired by State of Emergency Commandant, Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan, a consultative meeting was held at the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention
Addressing those present, Tigran Avinyan said:
“Today we will discuss the processes taking place at the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as the Government’s initiatives. We must coordinate all our efforts and direct them towards the achievement of one common goal - effective prevention and isolation activities.
I want to inform you that tomorrow the National Assembly will discuss a legislative package, which is supposed to help us get online information more effectively about the contacts between those people having coronavirus infection.
The main goal of our discussion will be the coordination of our efforts and actions and their concentration in one direction. It is very important that we talk about what processes are taking place and how the chains of infection can be identified. We will refer to the toolkits already available and how they can be used to increase the efficiency of the identification process.”
Monitoring of the regime of self-isolation and spotting the range of coronavirus carriers’ contacts by means of information technology were discussed during the meeting.
