Tigran Avinyan’s Congratulatory Message on Motherhood and Beauty Day
April 7 is one of the most important national holidays in the Armenian calendar, which throughout many centuries used to highlight the role of women in Armenian society. It implies an incomparably high sense of responsibility in implementing policies aimed at ensuring women’s full involvement in public life and encouraging the protection and promotion of their rights.
As the Chairman of the Council on Women’s Affairs, I hereby reaffirm that protecting women’s rights and curbing discrimination against women and girls is among the Government’s top priorities. With such a commitment, I felicitate our mothers, women and girls on Motherhood and Beauty Day and wish them robust health, as well as bright and carefree smiles.
