Mher Grigoryan Receives EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia
Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan today received a delegation led by EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia Toivo Klaar.
The Deputy Prime Minister first presented the situation developed following the war unleashed by Azerbaijan, the ensuing humanitarian problems and the adverse socio-economic consequences.
The EU Special Representative conveyed the readiness of the European side to assist Armenia in its efforts to develop the economy and deal with the consequences of the war. In turn, Mher Grigoryan stressed the need for earliest possible repatriation of all prisoners of war.
The Deputy Premier and the EU Special Representative discussed issues related to the EU-Armenia partnership agenda and, in this context, referred to the opportunities that could open up after unblocking the regional transport communications.
