Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan receives newly appointed Resident Representative of the IMF in Armenia
Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received Resident Representative of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Armenia Mehdi Raissi. Welcoming the guest, the Deputy Prime Minister congratulated him on the appointment and wished him success in his mission. The Deputy Prime Minister presented to the IMF Resident Representative the main guidelines, goals and objectives included in the Government's Action Plan.
During the meeting the interlocutors discussed the reforms envisaged in the sphere of public administration, referred to the expected reforms in the direction of fiscal policy.
The Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia and the IMF Resident Representative exchanged views on the programs carried out jointly with the IMF in various spheres, and the framework of cooperation. In this context, Mher Grigoryan praised the results of the joint work with the IMF and highlighted the need to further deepen the cooperation.
