Deputy Prime Minister Suren Papikyan meets with the delegation led by Igor Maslov
Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Suren Papikyan received the delegation led by Igor Maslov, Chief of the Presidential Directorate for Interregional Relations and Cultural Contacts with Foreign Countries of Russia.
The Deputy Prime Minister welcomed the visit of Russian officials to Armenia and their participation in the 8th Russian-Armenian Interregional Forum, viewing it as an important event for the development and strengthening of the Armenian-Russian relations.
The parties discussed a broad scope of issues of the development of the Armenian-Russian relations. It was noted that there is a great potential in bilateral relations, which should be properly exploited. The interlocutors touched upon the issues of economic cooperation, highlighting the joint efforts aimed at the implementation of new initiatives and programs.
Deputy Prime Minister Suren Papikyan expressed readiness to support the implementation of these agendas, emphasizing Russia's role in establishing stability in the region, as well as in creating effective platforms for resolving issues. Referring to the meetings held in Moscow within the framework of the "Russian Energy Week" forum, including with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak and General Director of Rosatom Corporation Alexey Likhachev, Suren Papikyan stressed the importance of the agreements in terms of the development of Armenian-Russian multifaceted relations.
