On September 22, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan paid a working visit to Aragatsotni Marz of Armenia. Attended by the Head of Government, a reconstructed bridge was commissioned in Oshakan community, which leads to the farmland situated on the opposite bank of the river Kasakh. The local farmers thanked the Premier for thoughtfulness and favorable consideration of their request. Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received U.S. Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern and USAID Project Manager Karen Hilliard. Reminding that at their latest meeting, the Prime Minister asked the U.S. Government to help Armenia hold an agricultural census, Karen Hilliard said the U.S. government had granted the request, and Armenia will get additional USD1mn in assistance.
