Tigran Sargsyan Receives U.S. Ambassador: United States To Provide Additional USD1MN Assistance

Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received U.S. Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern and USAID Project Manager Karen Hilliard. Reminding that at their latest meeting, the Prime Minister asked the U.S. Government to help Armenia hold an agricultural census, Karen Hilliard said the U.S. government had granted the request, and Armenia will get additional USD1mn in assistance. The parties next discussed the prospects of U.S.-Armenia relationship.

Government Set For State Budget Bill Debate

A Cabinet sitting was held today, chaired by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan. The Government took note of the Ministry of Finance-submitted preliminary draft budget for 2014.
