Government Support Program For Armavir Residents Takes Effect

A regular Cabinet meeting was held today, chaired by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan. The government decided to provide AMD50.000 in lump-sum assistance to each of 1606 vulnerable families from those twenty-three villages which suffered 100% losses due to the May 12 hailstorm. On Prime Minister’s instructions, the large family of Mkhitaryans was provided with a private home in Mrgashat community of Armavir Marz. To recall, during a working visit paid to Armavir Marz on May 22, the Prime Minister was hosted in the 14-member-strong Mkhitaryans family (with 11 children).
