I was deeply grieved to learn of the passing of great Armenian actress, People’s Artist of the Republic of Armenia Galya Novents. Galya Novents left a trace of her own in the history of the Armenian cinema and theatrical art. The characters embodied by Novents will stay with us forever as original examples of the art of acting. At this time of sorrow, I am sympathizing with the family, relatives and friends of the renowned actress.

A cabinet sitting was held today, chaired by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan. The government decided to extend until August 10, 2015 the deadline set for VAT payments due by Armenia Wine Factory LLC for over AMD 300mn worth of goods and commodities imported under its ongoing investment program in the period from August 10, 2012 to November 30, 2013. Pan-Armenian Conference Of Experts In International Affairs And Political Scientists To Be Held In Yerevan

Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan will be away on leave from July 9 to July 18, 2012. Most of the leave time will be spent in Armenia or in the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
