The Prime Minister lays wreath at the tomb of Mher Mkertchyan
December the 29th is the birthday of late Armenian actor of great renown, SU People’s Artist Mher Mkertchyan. On this occasion, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan called at the municipal pantheon after Komitas to lay a wreath at the tomb of the renowned figure of Armenian cinema and theatrical art. A bronze-cast bust to Mher Mkerthcyan is available on the tomb.

Armenian Rock Association founding-dedicated festival held with the Prime Minister’s support
An Armenian Rock Association (ARA) founding-dedicated rock festival was held on December 26 at the National Academic Theater after Gabriel Sundukyan. The event was attended by Republic of Armenia Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan who is the chairman of ARA board of trustees. Association-member 9 Armenian rock groups made their appearances during the festival.
