The import duty relief for certain agricultural and medical products will not apply starting July 1

The end date for the import relief for certain medical and agricultural goods is approaching. As SRC had announced earlier, as part of the measures aimed at preventing coronavirus, according to decision No 33 of 03.04.2020 of the EEC, certain goods were relieved from customs duty for the period from April 1 till June 30 if registered under the customs procedure “release for home consumption”. 8923 beneficiaries received a total of 1.7 bn drams within the 18th measure aimed at easing the economic impacts of coronavirus
