Caucasus Nature Fund provides Armenia with new grant
Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan and Executive Director of Caucasus Nature Fund George Giacomini today signed a grant arrangement to assist Armenia in fighting COVID-19. The agreement provides that in addition to the assistance provided to protected areas in Armenia, the Caucasus Nature Fund will make available EUR 500,000 as budget support to the Government of Armenia. The import duty relief for certain agricultural and medical products will not apply starting July 1
The end date for the import relief for certain medical and agricultural goods is approaching. As SRC had announced earlier, as part of the measures aimed at preventing coronavirus, according to decision No 33 of 03.04.2020 of the EEC, certain goods were relieved from customs duty for the period from April 1 till June 30 if registered under the customs procedure “release for home consumption”.
