The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia informs that as available since March 17, 2020, the treasury account 900005001947, referred to as “Financial assistance to the state from individuals and organizations with a view to preventing the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19),” had been credited AMD 1,032,684,502.1 by 20:00, April 22, 2020. A total of 3871 contributions have been made.

Works are being carried out at Bagratashen Checkpoint to reduce pile-ups on the territories of both Armenia and Georgia
The SRC announces that given the weather conditions in March, the checkpoint of Upper Lars has mainly been closed. This has resulted in substantial pile-ups of vehicles transporting goods from Armenia to EAEU member states or thirtd countries. The pile-ups were caused by about 800 trucks at Bagratashen checkpoint of Armenian-Georgian border and cars that had already reached the territory of Georgia.
