Motorcars may be won by cash-register tickets
Deputy Head of State Revenue Committee Armen Alaverdyan came today to the Press Center of Government to comment on the latest decision relating to prizes and bonuses.
For the second consecutive year, a system of prizes and bonuses has been applied and constantly amended in Armenia to benefit consumers and help address the needs of our State. According to Armen ALaverdyan, the recent amendments may be divided into four categories.
Firstly, starting next year, bonuses will be available for those cash-register tickets having two or more digits at the front or at the back of the special number concurring with the ones issued and made public during the lottery.
Secondly, each lottery edition will feature 10 motorcars. A motorcar and an extra sum of AMD 1.1 million will be given for those special numbers with 7 or more concurring digits. If not won, the balance of the cars will be accumulated to the stakes envisaged for such special numbers as will have six or five concurring digits with the maximum transaction value. The tickets with 6, 5, 4, 3 and 2 concurring numbers will be provided AMD 50.000, 20.000, 5.000, 2.000 and 500 respectively.
Thirdly and perhaps the most important is that starting next January, consumers will be provided monetary rewards rising to one percent of the sum, though not be less than AMD 100.000.
Finally, according to this decision, those tickets dated October, November and December, 2010 will be accepted for the January, 2011 edition of the lottery featuring 30 motorcars.
