A catalog up for the design of trade and catering facilities along motorways of interstate and national importance
At today’s sitting, the Executive approved a draft decree on introduction of a catalog for the design of those trade and catering facilities located along the motorways of interstate and national importance. The decision was commented on by Minister of Urban Development Vardan Vardanyan.
As he said, the decision was made urgent by the need to streamline urban development activities and shape a unified architectural policy in the target zones. The catalog will include ten model design proposals with alternative layout and facade decisions.
The document recommends abiding by those proposals included in the catalog while implementing building projects on the sites adjoining to highways. Only in this case the designs will not have to be concerted with Ministry of Urban Development.
Vardan Vardanyan gave explanations concerning such modifications as may be applicable to the standard projects. As he said, the developers can make changes in the already established projects provided they do not impair the constructive system of the facilities. “The standing facilities will not be pulled down. Indeed, we mean the core ones. Should developers wish to build according to their own projects they will have to turn to the Ministry of Urban Development,” the Minister noted.
