Oracle To Promote IT Sector Development In Armenia
Oracle IT company will come to Armenia. During the news conference, which was held at the Government Press Center, Oracle Senior Vice President Alain Blanc highlighted the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the Government of Armenia, which will enable the implementation of various programs and projects.
Oracle is going to set up an excellence center in our country, provide electronic and computer services in partnership with the Government and so on. “There is great potential for cooperation to tap on,” Alain Blanc noted.
Welcoming Oracle’s decision to enter the Armenian market, Deputy Economy Minister Karine Minasyan said it will to boost the IT industry in our country. Karine Minasyan advised that a cooperation agreement was reached at a meeting between Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan and Oracle’s top executives in Frankfurt as early as last December 7.
Oracle was founded in the United States in 1977. Strong with over 390 thousand customers worldwide, the company sells its products in more than 145 countries of the world.
