Navigation System Due In Yerevan
“The reforms implemented by the State Committee of Immovable Property Cadastre of the Government of the Republic of Armenia were aimed at simplifying the complex of functions, improving the quality of public services, ruling out the bureaucratic red tape and corruption risks,” Deputy Head of State Committee of Immovable Property Cadastre Ashot Musayan told the news conference, which was held today at the Government Press Center.
According to him, the four priorities stipulated in the 2013 Government Program have been implemented in full and in a timely manner.
The speaker next touched upon the priority tasks set for the year 2014. In particular, as a result of work on the creation of a single cartographic foundation in WGS - 84 geodetic datum, there will be created mapped topographic, cadastral maps and plans for open publication describing the administrative borders of Syunik and Shirak regions of Armenia, as well as related to the national geodetic network coordinates of the turning points community boundaries.
It is also planned to introduce a navigation system in Yerevan to determine the exact location of vehicles and other mobile objects, with monitoring and control possibilities.
