A working group has been set up by the Eurasian Economic Council to monitor implementation of roadmap activities. This is what First Deputy Minister of Economy, head of Technical Regulation, Services and Investments working groups Karine Minasyan told the news conference, which was held today at the Government Press Center.
The Working Group was said to have held its third session a few days ago, at which the roadmap performance was introduced. “Now, it clearly appears that the Republic of Armenia has implemented over 70 actions,” she said, adding that the meeting stated that all the activities had been carried out in a timely manner.
The speaker advised that the Eurasian Economic Commission Council is meeting in Astana this March 4.
In turn, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, head of the Working Group for Preparation of CU Accession Protocol said they had to prepare the agreement on Armenia’s accession to the Customs Union and the Common Economic Space.
“The document will be submitted to the National Assembly for ratification upon completion of all the aforementioned activities. After it has been ratified and enacted, Armenia will become a full member of the Customs Union and the Common Economic Space,” Sh. Kocharyan said.
