Government Approves Drugs Bill
The Government approved today a set of amendments to the laws on drugs, licensing and five other legal acts to be submitted to the National Assembly in the prescribed manner.
During the news conference held at the Government Press Center, Healthcare Minister Armen Mouradyan said the amendments are meant to regulate the circulation, registration, parallel importing, advertising and other problems related to prescribed drugs.
The new laws are expected to significantly increase the physical and financial affordability of medicines and provide the population with high-quality, efficacious and safe drugs.
