Turnover tax to be substituted with license fees in gold markets
The Government approved a bill on amendments to the Law on License Fees, which sets new rates of license fees for precious metals traders.
Deputy Economy Minister Emil Tarasyan introduced the bill at the Government Press Center-hosted news conference following the Cabinet sitting.
The bill suggests replacing the turnover tax applicable to gold markets with license fees, with a maximum amount set at AMD35 thousand in Yerevan, AMD25 thousand - in Marz centers and 0 dram - in border areas.
