New directions established for the use of family capital
The Government approved today a resolution aimed at enhancing efficiency in the use of lump-sum allowances offered to families for third and subsequent children. Labor and Social Affairs Minister Artem Asatryan gave the details of the decision at the press conference, which was held after the Cabinet sitting.
The Minister said the Government has approved the use of new directions of domestic capital. In particular, it is proposed to make available to target rural population the goals specified in the government’s decision regarding family allowances.
Thus, an opportunity is offered to use the funds for the repayment of agricultural loan interest and principal, if the loan interest rate is partially subsidized by the Government’s decision of March 31, 2011. The capital can also be used for buying a house, apartment or real estate in remote, frontier, mountain and high-mountain areas with up to 1,000 residents.
