The Migration and Citizenship Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia is a state body operating in the field of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, which develops and implements the policy of the Government of the Republic of Armenia in the field of migration and citizenship.

Within the scope of its competence, the Police Department elaborates and implements the policy of the Government of the Republic of Armenia aimed at combating crime and other infringements of law, maintaining public order and security.
