Arayik Harutyunyan participates in the opening of the exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Philatelic and Numismatic Movement in Armenia

Arayik Harutyunyan, Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister of Armenia, participated in the opening of the exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Philatelic and Numismatic Movement in Armenia, which will be held on November 14-18, at the National Museum-Institute of Architecture after Alexander Tamanyan.

Arayik Harutyunyan, who is also the chairman of the organizing committee of the exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Philately and Numismatic Movement in Armenia, made a speech during the event and congratulated on the anniversary. In particular, the Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister noted that the government should pay great attention to this field, noting that since independence until recent years, philately has experienced a retreat and did not have the activity and role it used to have in the 80s. "First of all Haypost, then the Association of Philatelists began to pay a lot of attention to philately, and we see that the field is developing rapidly, and the interest in philately is growing. I congratulate all of us on the occasion of this anniversary and I hope that in the coming years we will see even greater development in the field", said Arayik Harutyunyan.

In the framework of the exhibition organized by the Armenian Association of Philatelists, a stamp redemption was also held. "Haypost" company put into circulation a stamp dedicated to the theme "100th anniversary of the organization "Filanum" (Union of Philatelists and Numismatists). The postage stamp with a face value of AMD 380 features a magnifying glass, the logo of the Armenian Association of Philatelists, as well as the inscriptions "100th Anniversary", "Filanum" and "International Philatelic Exhibition" in Armenian and English.

The stamp was redeemed by Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan, Minister of High-tech Industry Robert Khachatryan, Acting CEO of "Haypost" Company Arayik Abrahamyan, President of the Armenian Association of Philatelists Hovik Musayelyan and Chief Executive Officer of "ACBA BANK" Hakob Andreasyan.

Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan presented diplomas and commemorative medals prepared by the Armenian Association of Philatelists to the members and sponsors of the organizing committee for their contribution and support to the organization of the exhibition. President of the Armenian Association of Philatelists Hovik Musayelyan presented the diploma and commemorative medal to the Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister.
