Tigran Sargsyan Welcomes Eurasian Economic Commission Board Chairman

Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received a delegation headed by Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Board Chairman Victor Khristenko.

Looking at EEC-Armenia cooperation prospects and directions, the parties discussed regional integration processes, including the Customs Union.

The head of government was briefed on the Customs Union-related developments, including the achievements and the legal framework.

Referring to Armenia’s euro-integration effort, Tigran Sargsyan said successful talks are underway on a deep and comprehensive free trade arrangement which are due to be completed by 2013.

The Prime Minister stressed that eager to further the integration processes, Armenia considers them as complementing each other.
