PM discusses with Kuwaiti Chamber of Commerce leadership investment issues





On official visit to the State of Kuwait, Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received at his residence a delegation headed by First Deputy Chairman of the Kuwaiti Chamber of Commerce and Industry Abdul Muhammad Vahab Al-Wazzani.

The interlocutors noted the importance of deepening cooperation between the Chambers of Commerce of the two countries, which may give a new dimension to the development of business ties and implementation of investment programs. The parties noted that promising is the cooperation in the fields of industry, agriculture, information technology, tourism and healthcare.

The parties agreed to develop and submit proposals in the near future on various investment projects that will help expand economic interaction between Armenia and Kuwait. The parties noted that there is great potential for economic cooperation that can be tapped on by holding business forums. They agreed to take specific steps in this direction in the near future.

Hovik Abrahamyan said Armenia can become a good platform for Kuwait to enter the Eurasian Economic Union market. The Prime Minister noted that the Government of Armenia is prepared to assist all investors with their investment projects.

During the meeting, the interlocutors also touched upon Armenia’s investment opportunities and other issues of mutual interest.
