Mher Grigoryan receives German Ambassador


Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received German Ambassador to Armenia Michael Johannes Banzhaf.

Greeting the Ambassador, the Deputy Prime Minister stressed the need for developing relations between Armenia and Germany and expressed hope that the joint efforts could enhance the current level of cooperation. Mher Grigoryan highly appreciated the programs implemented in Armenia with the support of the German Development Bank (KfW).

Thankful for the reception, the Ambassador spoke with satisfaction about the ongoing bilateral cooperation. The interlocutors highlighted the development potential inherent in Armenian-German cooperation in information technology, education and economic sphere.

Mher Grigoryan dwelt on the advantages of investing in Armenia. Reference was made to Armenia’s membership in the EAEU and the Government’s efforts to create a favorable investment environment. The Deputy Prime Minister and the German Ambassador emphasized the importance of exporting the idea of TUMO Center for Creative Technologies to Germany
