Born in 1905 in Yeghegnadzor. He studied in Novocherkask’s Agriculture and Melioration institute. He used to work as a lecturer. Was the third and eventually the second secretary of ACC. The war was still fought during his tenure. Then the war ended. Other difficulties came up for the country, the production was supposed to be transported from military railways to peaceful ones. The government was busy with restoration of industry and agriculture.
Armenia had suffered a lot of loss during the war: thousands of Armenian sons died at the frontline, it was difficult mentally and was difficult physically. The country was in need of working hands. We needed to overcome all that, to move the country from that situation and A. Sargsyan was able to do it.
