Aram Piruzyan

Born in 1907 in Baku, he was Candidate of Economic Sciences. He started his professional life in Alaverdi copper factory. He held different state and administrative jobs, mostly ministerial. The Great Patriotic War began during his tenure. Being the president of the council, his main job was to organize the production of military products in factories. Some part of agricultural production was being delivered to the front also under his direct lead. During that time, when dealing only with economic issues the government had “Everything to the front, everything for the victory” slogan. A. Piruzyan’s whole tenure passed under that slogan.
